On behalf of the board, we would like to wish you all a happy and healthy new year! We are looking forward to a productive new year. Our hope for this year is to have better communication using the online “Nextdoor.com” site. We are happy to announce, that so far this year we have 113 residents signed up on the website. Because of your active participation in this site, we were able to help two lost dogs find their way home; items have been sold and garage sales have been announced. But more importantly, there has been better communication between the residents and valuable ideas and suggestions have been shared. If you are interested in signing up, go to the link on the home page of our website, www.waverlyhundred.org and simply click JOIN Nextdoor Waverly Hundred. Once you join, you can also invite your neighbors by clicking on INVITE NEIGHBORS and click onto Postcards and Nextdoor takes care of the rest.
One of the issues brought up at the past meeting was security cameras. All residents should have received by the date of this newsletter, a letter regarding voting for or against security cameras at the entrances of our community. We urge you to read and submit your response as soon as possible so your vote will be counted! At our next meeting on January 22nd we will have an open forum during the course of the meeting to discuss the cameras. We encourage all residents to come to the meetings, visit our website at www.waverlyhundred.org, and make sure we have your current email address. Let’s remember to keep our lawns mowed, our houses painted, our roofs and sidewalks clean, our boats and RV’s out of the front yard, and most of all, our families SAFE!
