Staying in Touch with Residents

Our community documents were renewed in January 2015 and the revisions that we made to the rules, regulations, laws and governing covenants that are currently being enforced by the Homeowners Association by-laws are being mailed out to all of the residents in the next couple of weeks. You will need to send these back in with your vote on the different items. For them to pass we will need 66 2/3% of all the residents to agree on them so make sure you read them and send them back in. This is our chance to enforce all the necessary changes that we have discussed for years. The covenants will be addressed again at the meeting next month on April 22nd and the attorney will be present at that time to answer any questions.

There has been some attempted break-ins this month. It was reported that there are three individuals in a car, one goes to the house and the other two stay in the car. The auto in question is an older model silver Isuzu Rodeo. If anyone sees this vehicle or anything unusual, please call the police right away. Keep your eyes out for your neighbors as well. Hopefully they will find whoever is out doing this soon. At our meeting coming up on March 25th at 7:30pm, our community relations liaison police officer will be attending our meeting at 8pm and will be able to answer any questions we have.

We want to take this opportunity once again to make sure we have better communication using the online “Nextdoor.com” site. We are happy to announce, that so far this year we have 145 residents signed up on the website. If you are interested in signing up, go to the link on the home page of our website, www.waverlyhundred.org and simply click JOIN Nextdoor Waverly Hundred. Once you join, you can also invite your neighbors by clicking on INVITE NEIGHBORS and click onto Postcards and Nextdoor takes care of the rest.

We encourage all residents to come to the meetings, visit our website at www.waverlyhundred.org, and make sure we have your current email address. Let’s remember to keep our lawns mowed, our houses painted, our roofs and sidewalks clean, our boats and RV’s out of the front yard, and most of all, our families SAFE! Please write to info@waverlyhundred.org with any comments, or questions or anything you would like to share on the website as well as any suggestions for the covenants. See you Nextdoor!
