Facility Maintenance-Alan
DEO trimmed the trees by the park and thinned out the trees on Dykes Rd. They will be
planting new flowers at the entrances soon. We have a contract with them for them to trim the
trees twice a year and fertilize three times a year.
The sprinkler company worked on the intake pipe on Stirling Rd. They ran the sprinklers for
over 14 hours to compensate for lack of water at that location. We discussed the lid of the box
on Stirling Rd. entrance that is all rusty covering the sprinkler pump that we have asked them
to replace several times and they haven't come out to look at it. They said they would replace
it with a fiberglass top. We talked about considering hiring new maintenance people since the
ones we have don't see to be reliable, don't come regularly to do the work, it has all become
very unsatisfactory. It's a consideration at this point.
Violations- John and Levi
The fence on Hawkes Bluff and Watermill still in need of repair. There is a house on Hawkes Bluff
where the bricks on the corner portion of the roof have been removed. The boat on Gauntlet Hall
Lane is still being brought to the house and sitting there for days on end. Several driveways are in
need of repair.
Architecture-Frank
Frank not at the meeting.
Town of Davie-Tina
The No Dumping signs were finally replaced and erected properly. The engineers came out to
determine if all the stop signs necessary are in place since the hurricane.
Insurance-Jonathan
Not at meeting.
New Business
We discussed the possibility of a management company taking over violations for the association
and we are awaiting Jonathan's findings as far as cost and what kind of power we will have over
the management company for final say in matters. Our bylaws are vague so it's a matter of
interpretation.
It has been observed by many that kids are walking with back packs through the power grid area
where the trailers are behind the park going towards Muvico.
Meeting adjourned at 8:33 pm by Val O'Connor, Tina Franetic seconded the motion.
